Everybody should forget what they’ve heard about parking at airports like Stansted and drive to the airport. There have been so many stereotypes bandied around that there is something of an inherent fear of parking at an airport amongst many people, yet this is completely unjustified. The car parking companies were therefore able to charge a lot more for parking because their clients could afford to foot the bill. However, as more people have begun to fly abroad, the companies have realised that they will profit much more if they make parking affordable for everyone, meaning more people park.

Therefore, do not be afraid to park at Stansted airport. The cost works out at a little under £1 per hour which means that it could work out a lot cheaper than the cost of train travel! On top of that you have a vehicle when you return and don’t have to walk very far before you are on your way home – the last thing you want is to be waiting around at the airport!
