Stansted is no different to this new style of cheap airport car parking pricing. Long stay parking is where you want to be if you are taking a holiday or a relatively long trip somewhere. A courtesy bus service operating every 15 minutes will take you from this car park to the main terminal buildings in 10 to 15 minutes. If you turn up on the day of your flight and wish to park here it will set you back a mere £9.50 per day – no one can argue with a price as cheap as that! There are even more discounts to be had for booking in advance online making it a very cheap option.

Mid-stay parking is also very reasonable at Stansted, with prices ‘on the door’ at £13 per day. Both long stay and short stay passengers can park up in this car park, but it has a few more luxurious characteristics attached to it such as being closer to the terminal building and a free transfer service running every 10 minutes and only takes 5 minutes to reach the main terminal buildings. Advanced bookings again produce a discount rate. Finally, short stay is your last option and if you’re looking for a cheap car parking deal this really isn’t the place to stay! The service costs £27.50 per day – almost double that of the luxury mid-stay car park! This option really should only be used to pick up, or drop off, people at the airport.
